Being an ethical farmer simply means treating your animals right so they live to be happy and healthy
Benefits of Ethical Farming
- Lower in fat, calories and cholesterol, and higher in nutrients, compared to industrially produced meat
- Not treated with growth hormones or sub-therapeutic antibiotic
- Environmentally beneficial: animal waste is welcomed into the ecosystem naturally to nourish the soil for the surrounding plants (no waste disposal required)
- Less air, land and water pollution through transport of feed, disposal of animal waste, etc
- Animals have space to move freely and behave naturally

Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
The United Nations, through its member states, proposed Sustainable Development Goals, in 2015, which provides a blueprint for a sustainable future across all aspects of life.
At its heart are 17 goals, that recognize that ending poverty and other deprivations must go hand-in-hand with strategies that improve health and education, reduce inequality, and spur economic growth – all while tackling climate change and working to preserve our oceans and forests.
